Beijing, located in northern China,  is the capital of the People's Republic of China and its cultural, educational and political center. To the southeast, Beijing borders the port city of Tianjin and Hebei province to the north, west and south.

Beijing is one of the four ancient capitals in China, which includes- Nanjing, Luoyang, Chang'an (Xi'an) and Beijing. 

Beijing has approximately 22 million people and is divided into fourteen districts and two counties.
